Valentine's Day

Non si può non indossare un rossetto rosso nel giorno di San Valentino! Oggi voglio quindi consigliarvi di osare con questo fantastico rosso, si tratta nel Mineral Lipstick in CHEERFUL CHERRY di e.l.f. Cosmetics. (Solo ultimamente sto sviluppando una passione per i rossetti, prima ero fissata con gli ombretti! Ora sono nella fase "W il rosso"!)

Come potete vedere, Cheerful Cherry è pigmentato, di una tonalità ciliegia intensa. Non caricate troppo gli occhi quando lo indossate: possono bastare una linea di eyeliner e tanto mascara e un leggero velo di blush. Lo trovo un colore stupendo, adatto a tutte tranne che a quelle dalla carnagione molto pallida (come la mia sigh sigh! E' così frustrante scoprire una tonalità che ti piace e non poterla indossare!).

Personalmente devo dire che questi rossetti (riservo gli altri swatch per un altro post) mi piacciono molto per quanto riguarda le tonalità (molto portabili), la durata è ok (iniziano a cedere dopo due orette) inoltre sono assolutamente inodore. Hanno una texture cremosa ma, almeno sulle mie labbra perennemente secche, non hanno un effetto particolarmente idrante, di certo non contribuiscono a seccarle!

( I've been growing fond of lipsticks just lately, I was obsessed with eyeshadows before! Now I am in a red-lipstick-hurray period!). You can see above the swatches on both my hand and my lips.
Cheerful Cherry is a pigmented deep cherry shade. You should not wear too much make up on your eyes with such a strong colour: just some black eyeliner, a lot of mascara and some blush is enough. I think this shade is gorgeous, it's wearable except by those who have a pale skin tone (like me sigh sigh! It's so frustrating when you like a certain shade and you can't wear it as you know it doesn't suit you!).

I like the shades of these lipsticks (I'm keeping other swatches for another post), their staying power is ok (they start to wear out a bit after 2 hours) and they are totally odourless. They have a creamy texture but, on my forever-dry-lips do not have any mosturizing effect, at least they don't help in making them even drier!
