No.7 Shimmer Eye Palette

Qualche tempo fa sono andata da Boots e per puro caso ho notato che, in offerta con il mascara Exquisite Curl, c'era questa palettina da 4 colori in regalo. Mi sono subito entusiasmata!! A quanto sapevo non c'era nessuna promozione in corso e mi sembrava che la palette fosse già uscita in edizione liminata qualche tempo prima. Me la sono fatta scappare?? Certo che no! Della serie non compriamo le cose solo perchè ci sono altre cose in regalo! ^^

A onor del vero il mascara Exquisite Curl mi piace molto: incurva e allunga lasciando comunque un effetto naturale, senza lasciare grumi sulle ciglia. 
Il primo colore è appena visibile: uno champagne che lascia essenzialmente glitter, per questo è molto polveroso - carino come illuminante. Il secondo è un verde acido/lime, un colore diverso e adatto alla primavera. Stupendi anche gli ultimi due, più portabili: il marrone-bronzo e il color vino. Se vi capita di trovarla, non lasciatevela scappare!

A while ago I passed by Boots and I noticed this palette on offer with No.7 Exquisite Curl Mascara. I got excited! I didn't know about any promotion going on and I thought this palette was an old limited edition. Did I decide to leave it there? Of course not! 
I can't say I am not one of those who don't buy an item just because there is another one free.....
To be honest I really like the Exquisite Curl Mascara: it curls and gives length to my lashes with a natural effect, leaving no lumps.

The first shade is not very pigmented it's champagne colour, quite powdery which only leaves glitters one-nice as highlighter. The second one is an acid green/lime, a peculiar colour, nice for spring!
The last two are gorgeous, a bronzy-brown and a burgundy shade perfect for your everyday makeup! If you happen to find, you can't miss it!

elf Studio Matte Eyeshadows haul

Ho voluto provare alcuni tra i nuovi ombretti matte della linea Studio di elf; è una marca che mi piace molto perchè offre una buona qualità a prezzi modesti, anzi, direi proprio, bassi! Personalmente non impazzisco per i colori matte, preferisco quelli shimmerosi *.* ma mi piace utilizzarli per la sfumatura nella piega dell'occhio, per questo ho preso sopratutto colori scuri! Nell'immagine potete trovare: Mint, un verdino che rimane ben visibile sulla palpebra, Muted Mauve, un rosa nude, Chestnut, color castagna, Backed Berry: viola bruciato, Burnt Brown, Brick, un altro marrono rossiccio e Charcoal. Le tonalità disponibili in totale sono 10.

La consistenza degli ombretti è setosa e sulla palpebra si stendono divinamente. Bellissimo l'accostamente sulla palpebra di Muted Mauve e Backed Berry! Se dovessi scegliere ricomprerei senz'altro questi due e Burnt Brown. Chestnut e Brick mi sembrano troppo simili tra loro e troppo tendenti al rossiccio. Voi che ne dite? I wanted to try some of the new Studio Matte Pigments by elf as I almost love everything they have on their website! They offer a good quality at a good price, I'd say at a low price!
I don't love matte eyeshadows, I prefer shimmer all around me *.* but I like to use them in the crease. That is why I mainly ordered dark shades. The ones I purchased are Mint, a green that is clearly visible on the eyelid, Muted Mauve, a pink nude, Chestnut, Backed Berry, Burnt Brown, Brick, another reddish brown and Charcoal. On theit website they have 10 shades in total.
The powders are silky and smooth on the eyelid and the blend easily. Muted Mauve and Backed Berry used together on the eyelid are fantastic! Of course you need to love that simple look! If I had to choose I would buy a second time both of them plus Burnt Brown. Chestnut and Brick are too similar and too reddish for me. Do you have any of them?What are your favourites?
 

Sleek i-Divine Primer Palette Part 2!

Ecco la seconda parte della mia review! Potete leggere la prima parte cliccando qui. Innanzitutto ho voluto mettere a confronto il colour payoff (non mi viene il giusto termine in italiano! ogni tanto capita, vivendo in UK) di un ombretto non molto pigmentato normalmente, utilizzandolo sull'ombretto in crema della i-Divine Primer e con il Primer Potion della Urban Decay. Come potete vedere il risultato è identico:

Voilà, the second part of my review! You can read the first part here! First of all I wanted to compare the colour payoff of a light pigmented eyeshadow on the cream primer from the I-Divine Primer Palette and on the UD Primer Potion. As you can see from the photo, the result is the same.

Avendo dubbi sulla tenuta del primer, per evitare di trovarmi sulla palpebra, un alone senza ombretto mentre ero in giro ho fatto una prova a casa stendendo il primer in crema azzurro e l'ombretto azzurro della Original i-Divine e il risultato dopo appena un'ora è stato quello qui sotto. Insomma, questo prodotto Sleek è abbastanza deludente!

As I had some doubts about the lasting power of these primers, to avoid going to town with a line without make up on my eye, I tried them at home. I simply layered the blue eyeshadow from the Original i-Divine Palette on the blue primer from this palette and the result, after only one hour is this. This time Sleek has really disappointed me!

♥ Sleek Original i-Divine Palette my love! ♥

E' la prima e la più bella delle i-Divine Palette (oddio, non lo so, mi piacciono quasi tutte dopo tutto...) e ora è MIA!

La Original i-Divine Palette contiene 12 ombretti minerali pressati  (1.1g ciascuno - le cialdine hanno un diametro di 2cm) inseriti all'interno di una confezione in plastica nera dura con uno specchio bello grande! ..e un doppio applicatore per ombretto, non molto utile. Gli ombretti sono tutti shimmer ad eccezione del nero mat veramente pigmentato! Alcuni colori sono abbastanza polverosi (questa sembra essere una caratteristica degli ombretti sleek ma non è poi un grande problema), in particolare il colore più chiaro in prima fila ma sono pienamente soddisfatta del mio acquisto. Data la varietà di colori si possono creare diversi look: gli ombretti sono cremosi e si sfumano benissimo sulla palpebra e, come potete vedere, sono tutti molto pigmentati. In questo periodo sono fissata con il verde e i due verdi qui sono bellissimi!

It's the first and the prettiest i-Divine Palette (geez, I don't know about that, I almost like them all after all....) and now it's MINE! The Original i-Divine Palette contains 12  pressed mineral eyeshadows (1.1g each with a diameter of 2cm) in a sturdy black plastic case and a pretty big mirror! There's also a double-side eyeshadow applicator, not really useful. All the eyeshadows are shimmery excluding a very black black, nicely pigmented!

Some of them are quite powdery (this seems to be a characteristic of Sleeks eyshadow but it's not really a problem), expecially the lightest shade of the first row but I'm 100% satisfied of my purchase. There a pretty good choice of colours so you can create different looks: the eyeshadows are creamy and blend beautifully on the eyelid, and, as you can see, they're all very pigmented. Lately I'm so in love with green and these two greens are wonderful!

Sì sì sì!! E' arrivato il mio ordine elf con i nuovi prodotti!! In questo post vi mostro qualche foto dei 4 nuovi pigmenti Studio: Naughty Noir, Mystic Moss, Magical Maroon e Innocent Ivory.
Ogni jar, della stessa grandezza di quella dei cream eyeliners, contiene 1,5g di prodotto. Proprio come i cream eyeliners la confezione contiene un pennellino, non angolato ma identico a quello che si può trovare nell'eye transformer o corrective concealer, inutile per l'applicazione dell'ombretto. Ogni jar è chiusa da un sifter e una pellicola trasparente per evitare che il prodotto si disperda.

Yes yes yes!! My elf order with the new products has arrived! In this post I show you some photos of the 4 Studio pigments: Naughty Noir, Mystic Moss, Magical Maroon and Innocent Ivory. Each jar, which has the same size of the cream eyeliners one, contains 1,5g of pigments. Just like the cream eyeliners box it comes with a little brush, not angled but just like the one you can find in the eye transformer palette or the corrective concealer, useless to apply the eyeshadow. Each jar is sealed both with a sifter and a label to prevent the powder to be scattered everywhere.

E infine uno swatch Wet&Dry! 

Innocent Ivory: una volta applicato risulta un perlato cangiante con riflessi rosa. Utilizzato bagnato l'effetto cangiante è più evidente. E' molto più bello che in foto.

Magical Maroon: color prugna/mogano, non ho riscontrato differenze di colore da asciutto e bagnato.

Naughty Noir: l'applicazione asciutta e bagnata varia molto la tonalità del pigmento: da asciutto (sulla destra) è un nero con shimmer argentato mentre da bagnato (sulla sinistra) diventa metallico con una forte componente argento.

Mystic Moss: verde oliva con micro-glitter oro; anche in questo caso il colore cambia se si bagna il pennello, da asciutto ha lo stesso colore del cream eyeliner olive swatchato di fianco all'ombretto mentre da bagnato diventa un verde oro.

Così su due piedi, senza averli provati direi che sicuramente ricomprerei Mystic Moss e Naughty Noir, non so bene per quanto riguarda gli altri due...

Innocent Ivory: once applied it's a pearly iridescent pink, far more iridescent if used wet and nicer in real life than in the pic.

Magical Maroon: a deep plum color, I can't see any difference using it wet or dry. 

Naughty Noir: it changes quite a bit if used wet or dry: when it's dry (swatch on the right) it's black with a silver shimmer, if used wet (on the left) it leaves a beautiful gunmetal shade.

Mystic Moss: olive with golden shimmer; in its dry version the colour is very much like to the olive cream eyeliner (line on the right of the eyeshadows swatch above) while, as wet, it's a gorgeous golden green.

Without trying them on I'd say that I'd purchase again Mystic Moss and Naughty Noir, not sure of the other two shades....

Sleek peach flavours with Avoir la pêche!

Mi è appena giunta notizia che Sleek ha lanciato una nuova edizione limitata dai toni pesca, Avoir la pêche!La collezione è costituita dalla palette i-Divine Paraguaya, un blusher peschissima Pantao e un pout polish in Sugar May.

....non mi resta che dire ancora una volta che le palette Sleek mi fanno proprio gola!

Chi non conosce il famoso Particulière di Chanel? Chi non lo ha acquistato o ha cercato un suo dupe?
Forse Chanel spera di avere lo stesso successo con lo smalto di punta della sua nuova collezione estiva Les Fleurs d'été, ovvero con il giallissimo Mimosa.

La moda dello smalto giallo si sta già diffondendo tra le star: per esempio, agli ultimi Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga ha indossato un look total yellow, dalla testa alle unghie, con lo smalto Yellow Brick Road di Deborah Lippmann.




Who doesn't know Chanel's Particulière nail polish? Who didn't buy it or looked for a dupe? Maybe Chanel hopes to reach the same success with a new must-have from their summer collection Les Fleurs d'été, i.e. the bright yellow Mimosa. TV stars have already started digging this, head-to-nails, with Yellow Brick Road by Deborah Lippmann.


Piccola parentesi per la nuova collezione di Illamasqua, sempre coloratissime, che propone un paio di colori accesissimi per quest'estate: un arancione neon e un verde acido! Trovate gli swatch sul blog ufficiale di Illamasqua. Nars invece lancia Desperado, una tonalità di giallo meno shocking e più portabile.

Tornando a Chanel, non credo che Mimosa avrà lo stesso successo del Particulière.... è una tonalità piuttosto difficile da portare.... Voi che ne dite, vi sentite di osare?

Going back to Chanel nail polish, I don't think that Mimosa will have the same success as Particulière's...it's a difficult colour to wear....What do you think, do you feel like being bold?

Sleek i-Divine Primer Palette part 1!

Vi avevo detto che mi sarei fiondata sulla palette appena uscita no? E così è stato! In questo primo post vi propongo immagini e swatch della palette in questione. La i-Divine Primer comprende 12 ombretti in crema di 1.1g ciascuno e un doppio pennello, assolutamente inutile per l'applicazione dell'ombretto in crema. Le varie basi devono essere applicate sotto ad un ombretto in polvere per farne risaltare il colore e farlo durare più a lungo fungendo da primer (dubito che sulle mie palpebre funzionerà ma riserverò questa prova e un paragone con la Primer Potion della Urban Decay per un secondo post).

Didn't I tell you I was going to rush to the shop and buy this palette as soon as it was released? So I did! In this first post I'll show you some images and swatches of the i-Divine Primer. It contains 12 cream eyeshadows of 1.1g each and a double ended brush, quite a useless one! The bases need to be applied under a powder eyeshadow for a higher colour payoff and to make it last long, replacing a primer (I don't think it works on my oily eyelids but I'll reserve a comparison with the Urban Decay Primer Potion for another post).

Gli ombretti sono morbidi ma non lasciano alcuna sensazione di unto, cosa assolutamente positiva!

The eyeshadows are smooth,  not oily at all and that's definitively a plus!






Sulla sinistra trovate degli ombretti in polvere non molto scriventi, sulla destra invece potete vedere quanto vengano esaltati con sotto una base.

Infine ho voluto testare le qualità fissanti di questi ombretti in crema e, come immaginavo, è piuttosto scarsa. Mi è bastato passare il dito un paio di volte sulla mano e il risultato è questo.

At last I wanted to test the staying power of these cream eyeshadows and, as I imagined, it's quite bad. I only had to rub my finger on my hand a couple of times and the result is this.

Naked palette swatches!!

La Naked Palette della Urban Decay è uno degli oggetti più desiderati dell'ultimo anno e devo dire uno degli acquisti che mi ha lasciato più soddisfatta in assoluto e che rifare altri miliardi di volte! Dato che è stato ufficializzato il suo ritorno (leggete il mio altro post qui) vi propongo qualche swatch con e senza flash.
 La palette comprende 12 ombretti da 1.3g, un doppio eyeliner 24/7 Zero e Whiskey e una mini Eyeshadow Primer Potion da 3.7ml.

Gli ombretti sono tutti molto pigmentati e si sfumano deliziosamente, sembrano quasi "cremosi". Io non avevo mai provato alcun ombretto della Urban Decay prima di acquistare questa palette e sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dallo loro qualità e texture. Questa palette permette di creare look diversi: da uno più naturale e semplice per il giorno a uno più intenso ma sempre sofisticato per la sera. L'unico problema è che la cover in vellutino raccoglie un sacco di polvere e chiamatemi pazza ma per mantenerla pulita ci passo sopra con il rullo adesivo per i vestiti! :)

The Naked Palette by Urban Decay is one of last year's most desidered products and, I've gotta say, one of my best purchases and I would buy it another million times!As it is officially coming back (previous post here) I'm gonna show you some swatches. The Palette includes 12 eyeshadows, 1.3g each, a double 24/7 eyeliner in Zero and Whiskey and a mini Eyeshadow Primer Potion (3.7ml). These eyeshadows are very pigmented and blend beautifully, they almost have a "creamy" texture. I had never tried any eyeshadows by Urban Decay before and I was so impressed by their exceptional quality and texture. This palette allows you to create so many different looks: from a simple natual look for the day to an intense but chic look for the night. The only problem is the velvety cover that attracts the dust like nothing else and, call me crazy, but to keep it clean I use a lint roller! :D

E.l.f ha oggi lanciato due nuove 32 Piece Palette Everyday Brights e Everyday Basics non ancora disponibili sul sito americano!!
Quella che piu' cattura la mia attenzione e' sicuramente la Everyday Brights, fantastici colori primaverili! Mentre la Everyday Basics sembra piu' adatta a un look autunnale e i colori sembrano identici a quelli della palette da 32, disponibile in edizione limitata durante il periodo natalizio, ad eccezione dell'ultima fila di ombretti.  Date un'occhiata alle foto dei due nuovi gioiellini!

 E.l.f. has launched today two new 32 Piece Palette Everyday Brights and Everyday Basics and they are still not availble on the American website!! The one that most captures my attention is surely Everyday Brights, fantastic colours for spring! Everyday Basics is definitively more automnish and the colours seems identical to the one included in the limited edition 32 piece Palette available for Christmas, except for the eyeshadows in the last row. Check out the pics of their two new jewels!

Bourjois - Regard Effet Métallisé

Quante volte avete comprato un eyeliner e dopo averlo provato siete rimase deluse perchè cola o non è waterproof o non scrive nella rima dell'occhio nonostante la casa cosmetica in questione avesse dichiarato l'opposto? Beh, non è questo il caso dei Regard Effet Métallisé di Bourjois, questo prodotto mi ha lasciato davvero stupita!

L'azzurro (o il viola, non mi so decidere! xD) è il mio colore preferito e, nonostante la teoria dei colori dica che il blu è il colore che fa risaltare gli occhi color nocciola, mi sono accorta di non indossare mai un ombretto di questo colore! Ho allora deciso di comprare i due eyerliner in foto, il primo è Vert Pépite, il secondo Blue Clinquant. Il primo è un bellissimo verde mare metallico mentre il secondo è uno splendido turchese.

La matita è morbida e cremosa ma non sbava. Il colore rimane davvero vibrante per tutta la giornata e la sua intensità non diminuisce nemmeno mettendolo nella rima interna dell'occhio (la matita è veramente waterproof). Nella foto qui a fianco potete vedere lo swatch, nella foto qui sotto invece voglio mostrarvi che la matita non sbava: ho sfregato e sfregato e sfregato infinite volte per vedere quanto ci metteva il prodotto ad andarsene o a migrare altrove. Beh, è ancora lì.

PS: la teoria dei colori funziona! Ben tre persone hanno fatto un commento su Blue Clinquant (due miei colleghi uomini!! e la mia compagna di casa che mi ha detto che mette in risalto i miei occhi!).

How many times have you bought an eyeliner and, after trying it on, you got upset of you're purchase because the eyeliner was smudging, wasn't waterproof or didn't write in the waterline in spite of what the cosmetic brand was stating about that product? Well, this is not the case for Bourjois Regard Effet Métallisé eyeliners, the quality of these pencils really surprised me!

Blue (or purple, I ca't decide! xD)is my favourite colour and, despite the fact that the colour theory states that blue is very flattering for brown eyes and makes them pop, I noticed I never wear blue eyeshadows! Therefore I decided to buy the eyeliners in the pic, Vert Pépite and Blue Clinquant. The first one is a beautiful metallic sea-green, the second a wonderful turquoise.

These eyeliners stay vibrant all the day long and their intensity do not fade even by applying it to your waterline (it's totally waterproof).
In the first pic you can see a swatch of the two eyeliners, in the second I want to show you that the eyeliners do not smear at all: I started rubbing and rubbing and rubbing to check how much time it would take me to make the colour disappear or move. Well, it's still there in its place.

PS: Colour theory really works: while I was wearing Blue Clinquant three people made comments on that colour (two colleagues of mine, males!! and my housemate who told me it makes my eyes pop!).

New Tinted Mosturiser and other new products by E.l.f. !

 

Da oggi sono disponibili sul sito e.l.f. i nuovi Studio Tinted Mosturiser (4€) con fattore di protezione solare 20 in 7 tonalita'(Porcelain, Nude, Beige, Sand, Almond, Mocha,Espresso). Non si tratta di un fondotinta quindi la copertura non dovrebbe essere elevata. Questa crema contiene anche ingredienti idratanti quali l'aloe vera e il cetriolo, vitamina A, C ed E per nutrire la pelle.

Tra le nuove aggiunte ci sono anche 4 nuovi smalti, Purple Dream, Dark Glitter Purple, Copper, Teal Blue! Adoro quel violetto sbrilluccicoso! Amore mio, sarai mio molto presto!!

Infine nella sezione Studio sono stati aggiunti gli applicatori per ombretto, per mascara e gloss in confezione da 12 e le spugnette trucco in confezione da 3 (una parte offre un finish leggero mentre l'altra piu' coprente).

It's not a foundation so you don't have to expect a high coverage. This mosturiser contains hydratating ingredients such as aloe, cucumber, vitamins A, C and E to nourish your skin.

Some new nail polish shades, Purple Dream, Dark Glitter Purple, Copper, Teal Blue, have been added too! I love that bright purple colour! You'll be mine soon, my dear!!

New i-Divine Primer Palette by Sleek!!!

Probabilmente il destino sta cercando di dirmi qualcosa (cioè che devo fare qualche acquisto da Sleek): dopo l'uscita della collezione di San Valentino, della quale adoro il blush, Sleek MakeUP ha creato una straordinaria palette contenente 12 ombretti in crema da utilizzare come base per il make up. La palette include tonalità accese come il blu, il viola e il rosso e tonalità più tenui per un look naturale. La nuova  i-Divine Primer Palette (£6.99) sarà disponibile per l'acquisto dal 16 febbraio a quanto sembra....mi sa che il prossimo fine settimana mi fiondo da Superdrug a comprarla e chissà se sarà l'unica cosa che comprerò?!!

Probably Fate is trying to tell me something (that I have to buy something from Sleek): after the launch of the Valentine's collection which made me fall in love with their blush, SleekMakeUP is about to release an extraordinary palette including 12 creamy shades to be used as eyeshadow base. This palette has some bold shades such as blue, purple and red and more subtle shades for a natural look. The new i-Divine Primer Palette (£6.99) will be available from 16^th February....I think, next weekend I'll rush to Superdrug to grab it and I'm afraid it won't be the only thing that I'll buy?!!

More coral on the way!

Stavo navigando per blog quando sono capitata su una pagina di blush corallo....ho cominciato a osservare i vari swatch e la mia attenzione è caduta su un blush in particolare della Lancôme, c'era qualcosa di familiare...Dopo vari minuti mi è venuto un lampo di genio: "Ma io quel blush ce l'ho!!"  ho esclamato.(Come sono sveglia eh?). E' un blush che ho comprato oramai non so quanto tempo fa e finito nel dimenticatoio perchè era troppo shimmer per i miei gusti.... Mi sono fiodanta alla sua ricerca e l'ho swatchato immediatamente! Poi ho avuto un altro lampo di genio (due in un giorno: è un record!!) "Ma questo blush è identico al Candid Coral della elf!".
Ecco qui il confronto tra il blush Studio Candid Coral della E.l.f. e il Blush Subtil in Peach Fever di Lancôme:

 

Si tratta quindi di un corallo pescato che si adatta a tutte le tonalità di pelle, sta divinamente anche sulle carnagioni pallide. Le principali differenze che ho riscontrato sono due (entrambi sono abbastanza polverosi):

-il blush di Lancôme è più pigmentato, per raggiungere lo stesso effetto con quello della e.l.f. è necessario applicare più prodotto;

-entrambi i blush contengono dei microglitter ma quelli del blush Lancôme sono molti più visibili.

Questa tonalità dona un colorito naturale ma, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il Peach Fever, l'effetto iridescente è molto più evidente. Magari più adatto alla sera o a quando si è abbronzate.

I was checking some blogs online when I came across a page about coral blushes.... I started to check the swatches and my attention was captured by one in particular by Lancôme, there was something familiar about it....After a bit I had a flash: ".I've got that blush!!"- I screamed. (I'm so bright at times eh?). I bought that blush I don't know how long ago but I forgot about it because it was too shimmer for me.... I rushed looking for it in my drawers and I swatched it right way. Then I had another flash (two in a row: it's a record!): "...but this blush looks exaclty like e.l.f. Candid Coral!".

You can see the difference between the e.l.f. Studio Candid Coral and Lancôme Blush Subtil Peach Fever in the pic above or can't you?

It's a beautiful peachy coral that suits all skin tones and it's gorgeous for pale skins. The main differences I spotted are two (both blushes are quite powdery):

-the one by Lancôme is more pigmented, to reach the same effect with the e.l.f. one you need to apply more;

-both blushe contains microglitters but Peach Fever has got more and they are more visible. 

These shades gives you a natural glow but, especially concearning Peach Fever, the iridecent effect that you get is quite noticeable. Maybe it's better at night or with a tan.

Direi che il blush mi incuriosisce proprio! Voi che ne pensate?
Non penso proprio che il risultato del Pout Polish sia quello rappresentato nell'immagine...io ne ho uno in un'altra tonalità: è, sì, molto pigmentato ma l'effeto che si ottiene è lucido mentre la modella in foto sembra che stia indossando piuttosto un rossetto matte.

I don't think that the result you'll get out of the Pout Polish is the one shown in the picture...I've got one in another shade: it's really pigmented but the effect that you get is sheer, the model in the image seems to be wearing a matte lipstick instead.

No.7 Coral Flush

Devo ammetterlo, quando ho comprato questo blush non ne ero rimasta superimpressionata ma devo dire che non ho potuto fare a meno di metterlo tutta la scorsa settimana! Come potete vedere dalle immagini il Coral Flush è molto pigmentato e ne basta davvero poco per avere un bel colorito corallo sulle guance.
Si tratta di un corallo che tende maggiormente al rosa piuttosto che all'arancio. Il finish è shimmer: dall'immagine qui sotto non si vede ma vi sono dei piccolissimi glitterini all'interno, me ne sono accorta solamente facendo questo swatch, dopo una settimana che lo portavo! Una volta applicato evidentemente i glitterini risultano invisibili (o forse sono cieca io!).
Insomma è una tonalità molto carina e delicata.
 

 I have to admit that when I bought this blush I was not super convinced about it but, I've gotta say, I used it everyday last week! As you can see from the pictures, Coral Flush is very pigmented and you just need a tiny bit to give your cheeks a nice coral flush. This coral tends to be on the pink side, it doesn't have strong orange undertones. Its finish is sheer: you can't tell from the pic but there are some tiny glitters in it; I noticed them only when I swatched it, after using it for a week! Evidently once you have applied it, the glitters blend in your skin giving you a natural look (or maybe I'm just blind because I can't really see them!). After all it's a really nice and delicate blush.

New Naked Palette with Brush!

Chi non ha  sentito parlare della NAKED PALETTE della Urban Decay? Lanciata nell'autunno 2010 è rapidamente andata out of stock (c'era da aspettarselo!) lasciando molte a mani vuote (Io per fortuna sono riuscita ad accaparrarmene una da Debenhams!).

News news news! La Naked Palette verrà rimessa in commercio! Il prezzo di vendita sarà leggermente più alto in quanto al doppio eyeliner che era prima incluso nella palette, è stato ora sostituito un eyeshadow brush. La newsletter della Urban Decay assicura che "cercheremo di continuare a produrne fino a quando chiunque la desidera non ne sarà in possesso!"

Finora nello UK non le ho ancora viste.....chissà quando e se arriveranno in Italia....

Who doesn't know Urban Decay's NAKED PALETTE? It was launched last autumn and soon after its release gone out of stock (no doubts about that!) leaving lots of screaming girls empty handed (Luckily I managed to grab one in Debenhams!).

News news news! The Naked Palette is back on sale! It will be sold for a slightly higher price as the double eyeliner it used to come with has been replaced by an eyeshadow brush. Urban Decay newsletter assures that "(they) will try to keep making them until everyone who wants one owns a Naked Palette".

So far I haven't  seen any in the UK....I wonder when and if they'll be available here.

Valentine's Day

Non si può non indossare un rossetto rosso nel giorno di San Valentino! Oggi voglio quindi consigliarvi di osare con questo fantastico rosso, si tratta nel Mineral Lipstick in CHEERFUL CHERRY di e.l.f. Cosmetics. (Solo ultimamente sto sviluppando una passione per i rossetti, prima ero fissata con gli ombretti! Ora sono nella fase "W il rosso"!)

Come potete vedere, Cheerful Cherry è pigmentato, di una tonalità ciliegia intensa. Non caricate troppo gli occhi quando lo indossate: possono bastare una linea di eyeliner e tanto mascara e un leggero velo di blush. Lo trovo un colore stupendo, adatto a tutte tranne che a quelle dalla carnagione molto pallida (come la mia sigh sigh! E' così frustrante scoprire una tonalità che ti piace e non poterla indossare!).

Il sito www.eyeslipsface.it  riporta che i rossetti minerali assicurano una colore a lunga tenuta, sono privi di parabeni, conservanti e coloranti chimici e contengono olii esotici, cere naturali, vitamine ed estratti vegetali per idratare le labbra.

Personalmente devo dire che questi rossetti (riservo gli altri swatch per un altro post) mi piacciono molto per quanto riguarda le tonalità (molto portabili), la durata è ok (iniziano a cedere dopo due orette) inoltre sono assolutamente inodore. Hanno una texture cremosa ma, almeno sulle mie labbra perennemente secche, non hanno un effetto particolarmente idrante, di certo non contribuiscono a seccarle!

You have to wear a red lipstick on Valentine's day, no excuses! I want you to be bold wearing this chic red, I'm talking about e.l.f. Cosmetics Mineral Lipstick in CHEERFUL CHERRY. ( I've been growing fond of lipsticks just lately, I was obsessed with eyeshadows before! Now I am in a red-lipstick-hurray period!). You can see above the swatches on both my hand and my lips.
Cheerful Cherry is a pigmented deep cherry shade. You should not wear too much make up on your eyes with such a strong colour: just some black eyeliner, a lot of mascara and some blush is enough. I think this shade is gorgeous, it's wearable except by those who have a pale skin tone (like me sigh sigh! It's so frustrating when you like a certain shade and you can't wear it as you know it doesn't suit you!).

www.eyeslipsface.co.uk describes the mineral lipsticks as being longlasting, parabens, preservatives and chemical dyes free and containing a nourishing blend of exotic oils, natural waxes, vitamins and plant extracts to moisturize your lips.
I like the shades of these lipsticks (I'm keeping other swatches for another post), their staying power is ok (they start to wear out a bit after 2 hours) and they are totally odourless. They have a creamy texture but, on my forever-dry-lips do not have any mosturizing effect, at least they don't help in making them even drier!
